Brian, I have more success recruiting on Linked In and Twitter. Even though I have a business page on Facebook, I find that it is more of a page where people discuss what they are doing every moment of the day. Linked In is much more professional. Depending on who your target market is, I recruit CPAs and Accounting/Banking professionals.

I joined Facebook a couple of weeks ago with two intentions:
1. To find out if it was an appropriate place for my daughter to have a page and
2. To utilize it as a recruiting tool.

Of course, all I've done up until now is reconnect with old high school and college friends. Now, of course, I'm going to have to create a separate page for the recruiting part. No need for people I'm trying to associate with professionally to read the old war stories of what I did when I was young...........
I have a LinkedIn page, but I came to the realization that the type of people I'm recruiting don't exactly know what LinkedIn is.
Here's the rub - we can't access Facebook here at work. That's ok, I can always check in at home. But I'm curious if anyone else uses Facebook in recruiting - with any success.
